What's the safest maximum volts for everday use? I currently have the ram set at 3.4v, 2-2-2-5, 240HTT, 1T and no active cooling :x

But only if you put a fan over the ram, without active cooling, 3.4 is about the highest I would go.

BH-5 is rated for up to 3.6v, but you will decrease life at that voltage, esp. without active cooling.

I dunno. Everyone says to always actively cool em, but has anyone actually ever killed BH5 with less than 3.6v?

Not that I know of, but I know people have gotten higher clocks with a fan over their BH-5. Seems worth it to me, I just need to take the time to do it, especially since I just won an OCZ booster.
