View Full Version : 127.0.0.1 loopback problem
it seems i have around 20+ 127.0.0.1 loopbacks running in my netstat -a -n. It is so much traffic that it cuts my bandwidth in half. Does anyone know how to fix such a problem?

I was just checking mine, and I have them too. Not sure what they are for, but they must be for something.
well see thing is i just called tech support and they gave me that as the reason which makes sense because when i use multiple programs that take up bandwidth it tends to lag but i have freinds with the same cable as i do and they have only 1 loopback and their connections never experience this....??? btw ty for the quick replys :attn:

TCP or UDP?
What state is the connection in? (TIME_WAIT, ESTABLISHED, LISTENING, Other?)
Can you paste a few lines?
