*EDIT* Made this a lil neater and added an update *EDIT*

Hey Guys/Gals,

Well yours truely had to much time on his hands his early morning so I decided I would take another crack at 1.20ghz..

First thing I did was to remove the other side of my case, never ran it that way before I figured it would help the temps abit, next thing I did was to place a powerfull house fan in front of it and crank her full blast :)

Then I spent about 3-4 hours tweaking with her .. turning fans, reversing flow, memory timmings, and many many other bios settings.. pretty much exausted all my options.. I didnt get her to 1.20 ghz, but I got her to 1.12ghz :)

Thats gotta count for something right?

Here are some photos for all you sceptical peoples!

I wasnt even gonna bring it up.. need better memory for more agressive timmings :(

Where all the madness happens.. watch where ya step.

*UPDATE*

Hey Guys, I got vp6fsb and tryed using that but it only works on 2k, so I got bp6fsb and copied the program into its folder, now it works on 98, gives some errors and all, but according to wcpuid it works!

I got some more outa her, but not stable enough for benchmarks

Way to go treker very nice OC too bad you didn't hit 1.2. Maybe it the ram is that 512 total or or one stick of 512? Other than temps that is all I see that could be holding you back.

Thanks Ambient!

Yeah is a single stick of generic pc133 ram, but has infinity modules! (*sarcastic grin here*)

hey it was 50 bucks and $$ is tighter than a frozen baggle at the moment.

Yeah the temps while loading really rocket close to 50, but after a lil bit in windows they go down dramaticaly.

My hard drive is giving me problems with the clock, taking its sweet time to load windows.. spinning and spinning..

I did get into windows at 1,130mhz but I kept getting blue screens or freezes!

Have you tried SoftFSB or do you count that as cheating?

Hey, whatever works works!
that would be killer however I dont think softFSB has an option for my board, however I wish I'm wrong..

If I could adjust the speed from in windows I'd have a MUCH better chance of avoiding the bsod's and lock ups that come with loading windows!

My last attempt, and probaly my last try till I get better hardware and cooling, why risk it?

Also this was a mondo pain in the arse to post, I wish we could put more than one photo per post!

I tryed to link to all the images and put it in one post as you can see.. first I tried angel fire.. then I tryed photopoint.. they both stink, none alow linking, and spent and hour trying to upload them to my old old old server space that I got a year ago.. no luck..

And I didnt want anyone to think I purposely skimped out on proof, so I added them manualy once again.

I'm gonna take 2 advil now
