FX5700 Probs

Hey guys, i have a customers computer here right now i am trying to fix. Thge video card is a FX5700LE. Its going right to a totally red, artifact screen when u load army. It doesnt freeze but its crashing the graphics really bad.

Think it oculd be heat? I did a total windowsxp re-install, new drivers, etc. He said it didnt happen till after the company that built it "tweaked" it. They supposedly changed the processor and tweaked it for gaming. They didnt change the chip but now its all hell.

I'm going to toy with it i wanted to post this incase i missed something, or maybe its common.

that happens if the card itself is screwed or corrupt drivers, im guessing u did install the mobo chipset drivers before the VC drivers, right?

yea i did, im trying one more set of drivers then i say its heat. This time it waited like 30 seconds into the game then it did it so....

figured it out, the fan is failing after about ten minutes.
