I have heard that the 1.4 runs hotter than the 1.33.
Anyone else have some input on what steppings are good for the 1.4?

Welcome to the Forums!!
If you look at the many posts about these 2 chips you will see that the 1.4 runs hotter and at times harder to O/C than the 1.33. You might want to get a hold of a member named Reticule-X. He has alot of experiance with these 2 chips in DDR boards. Good Luck and remember heat is your enemy!! Cooling comes first.

I'd wait for the Palomino.
Don't know about the 1.33's but I can tell you about my 1.4. It's a week 25 AYHJA-Y 1.4. Currently I have it running at +0.2V over default and at 1.61ghz. My temps with 100% CPU usage (due to that Burn6 program I picked up from train22's link) are 48C. (With an SVC Golden Gate 40)

i can't speak for the 1.4 but my 1.33 has been great with heat! it get's f#$@ing hot if you don't cool properly but it is a work horse! i have been working on my pelt mods and i accidently forgot to plug in some things (cough: the pump) and it ran for several minets at killer temps and never fryed. booted back up and cooled down to a wonderful 4 C! But you may get slightly better overclockes on a 1.4 ayhja-(?) i don't know what version of that step is the best though but mine is an ayhja-y
Okay, thanks guys, I'll get a 1.33 stepping :)))
Btw, by what I've seen posted the 1.33 can clock as high as 1.6mhz???
