Yep, I'm using it, seems to be alright. Not too much different than 5 or 5.5 except for the smart tag support.

One thing about it thats ****ed me off twice...
My desktop wallpaper disappeared, and when I went to properties it was still showing there, I changed it to some other generic tile which popped up fine, then switched back to my picture which still wouldnt display, then I couldnt get rid of the damn tile one. I turned off active desktop as well, which still wouldnt get it back, I finally got it back and I'm not sure how, I just kept clicking and clicking in a mad frenzy!

I also noticed that little popup toolbar thing is gone when I hold the mouse over a picture, although I didnt turn it off. Of course I havent even looked into the options of the program yet for actual differences, I'd say it has some "bugs" or I need to start playing with it more, one or the other!

It's just IE5.5 warmed over with smart tag support. And a cooler icon.
