I'm running a 2.8E Prescott @ 3.06. All is well and stable but, in the bios the hardware monitor says my cpu is running about 7 degrees hotter  than what MBM 5 says. Anyone experience this?

mine is always higher in the bios also. I used MBM and the asus probe and got the same temp so assumed(yea I know) that the two must be correct. eventhough the bios was higher.

The readings with MBM are about 8c out, my CPU was at 19c the other night and I know thats not right.

That what wanted to says, I had [email protected] idle vcore 1.6 18c it never went about 28c under load, mbm reports temps too low

defined right MBM gives exactly the same readings as asus probe.

no compansation can give "real tempreture". real thermometer will.
