Lose in some of the benchmarks to the 5950U, and sometimes the 9800XT. But then be 2x as fast in others?

The 6600GT seems like a sweet card, hope it is.

I'm not sure what test your talking about, could you please explain?
btw, what is the logic with this?
The 61.77 drivers were used on all but the 6600 GT, which was powered by the 65.37 beta drivers. On the ATI side, most of the numbers shown here were run with the 4.6 Catalyst, except the X600 XT which was run with the 4.8 version.

I didn't look to see what you were pointing to, but in many cases a card like the 5950 Ultra does not display everything that the 6800/X800's do. For example, it may still be running PS 1.1 rather than 2, which of course would give it a speed advantage. Couple that with a game where the CPU is the bottleneck and the scores will be different from what is expected.
