ecc memory problem..wont boot

Just bought 512MB of DDR RAM from ebay(didnt need it but it was a great price). However it doesnt appear to work in my system, it as follows:
Samsung PC2100R-20330-MO CA2 512MB DDR PC2100 CL2.0 ECC
IT also Sun branded. It appears in my BIOS both running on its own and with another DIMM but wont boot into windows just restarts itself continously. Any one got any ideas? I defaulted all my BIOS overclocks and also set BIOS values at failsafe but it makes no difference, same problem occurs. I am running an Abit IS7-E2 with what i believe is the latest BIOS.
Any help would be gerat as Id love to get a gig of ram in my rig(even if it 2100 ill get enough fsb).

That mobo doesn't support ECC from what I see here. Also, most systems don't support ECC and Non-ECC installed at the same time.

I'd suggest getting your money back because ECC will decrease your system performance by about 2 percent.
