Cool The AThlon!!!!

Hi guys

just finding ou if anyone has any tips on cooling my athlon at the moment I have an Athlon T bird 1.2 but can't oc it cause it's too hot.

I have a super orb HSF on it and think that should be sorted out

It is in a full tower case and I have fans over the graphics 1 case fan in and 2 out the back i'll post a pick soon

Lose the Orb. The Orb is not going to cool the CPU enough to allow you to overclock. The Orb is barely adequate to cool a non overclocked CPU.

Depending on your cash situation here are some reccomendations for HSF's:

Millenium Glaciator
Global Win CAK38
ThermalRight SK-6
Swiftech MC462A

Since you have a full tower case - maybe add some more intake fans to the front.

definately ditch the orb. go for something that will be able to handle your overclocking needs. i suggeset a globalwin fop 38 or something along those lines. also try experiment with air flow within your case. that can make a difference

Full tower case has one intake at the front which needs cutting so i can improve the airflow then I have another directly over the Orb yo help cooling but where abouts can I buy those HSFs you mentioned??
