Gigabyte Motherboard AGP lock Question

I asked this in the gigabyte section first, but not many people visit it, I just have a simple generic question:

My motherboard features an AGP/PCI lock. When turned on, I can control the speed of the slots...

If i turn it on, will upping the FSB continue to NOT affect it? I don't want to touch those components yet, so I need a lock on them. Will this work?
