Help in buying ati video card

I'm looking in to buying a Radeon 9800 PRO 128MB because if It's price ($200)
any other suggestions for video cards? I'm pretty sure it's the best bang for the buck, I would also like to know if you can soft or hard mod the 9800PRO?

you can softmod a lot of 9800 pros... i did.

Also, videocards come in 128mb not 125mb) or 256mb
