Bios will boot but won't go any further on anything past 1560mhz. Also won't even post on 12.5x or higher multilplier. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums.

You'll need to post more information about your system, motherboard, hsf, RAM, etc.

yes...my favorite words, you guys all know it...

BURN IT, that's my rule of thumb, if it's useless burn it!
I hope you know what I mean by burning it in

Did you up the v-core voltage a little?

We need a little more:

What are your temp's under load?

What Heat sink do you use?

What voltage do you currently use?

The A7A266 Asus isn't a very "good" O/C mobo. (I know i own one) My 1.2gig 266 fsb athlon clocks at 1.33 on the asus but 1.5 on my Abit.

Thats my $.02

Average running temp after heavy gaming is about 53 C. Idle its about 46 C. Vcore is running at 1.75, and I am using a GlobalWin WBK-68 to cool the processor.

Well, I think you have reached the top, with your current cooling gear. I think upping the Vcore would make you able to boot, but you really should't up the Vcore, because your temp's are to high. If you want to go higher you will need something better to cool that T-Bird.
Do you have some case cooling?

Do you use AS2?

What program do you use to monitor your temps'?
