im undecided between the two. which performs better/has better success rate in unlocking pipes?

Ive heard the chaintech works if you mod the bios to 1.4v

The chaintech can run 12x1,6vp at stock though.

any idea on the Leadtech, I exchanged the one I had for another today to see if this one will have better results soft modding and picked up one for a friend so we will find out the luck oua 3 of them

They do overclock very well though stock so far 400/875 stock cooling

Let you know in a week when all my parts finally come in, but the Chaintech looks promising with the Hynix memory. The ugly graphix on the fan gotta go tho!

the "picture on the video card itself has got to go" comment has got to stop being stolen from the aa6800 review.

from what ive seen the Leadteks sucess rate is about 85-90%. mine being one of them :)

I think that either would be a great choice with luck of the draw defining if you can successfully unlock the pipes or not. That being said, I am very pleased with my chaintech AA6800. Fully unlocked and running a speedy 430/920.
