is there a way to allow the w2k install let me chose which components to install. i have read the 'how to minimize the installed footprint' on the MS site but all i got was errors when i tried to follow the instructions. is there an option to let you chose the components like in win98. help me out.

After instaling win2k open sysoc.inf file in INF directory and delele all HIDE words... Now
go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall what you do not want.

Find a hidden folder in your W2K directory named "dllcache", it's save to delete all the contents. Should be upwards of 200+ mb, that’s about as big as it gets. It's a safety feature by Microsoft for "average" computer users. There's also a switch in the registry which turns off this feature completely, do a search.
