low 3dmark05v1.10

I'm currenty running at 460/1200. but I just gain 5005 score in 3dmark05..
what's reason why I get the low 3dmark05

Thats not a bad score buddy. Not by a long shot .Its a good score for a GT.My 6800nu only gets 3600 with it softmodded.I cant break 4000 even if i OC to 3.9 and oc my card 400/900 which is a good OC for a 6800nu 128mb

at the speeds he is running it is considerably low, I get about 4800 with my gt clocked at 392, he is running about 70 mhz faster than me I would expect scores in the mid 5k's maybe more?...

Hmm Yeah i guess you are right i did a liitle research and i found 6800nu's running them numbers.I dont know why mine runs so slow i cant break 4000 even when i OC my cpu to 3.9 and run my card at 400/910.Im running 2.8 at 250 fsb everyday and ram is running @cas 2.5-3-3-7 and my card i run @350/750 everyday.At these setting my scores are only about 200 pionts lower than when i oc the crap out of my rig.WHY?When i run these numbers with 3dmark03 0r aquamark03 or my score increase dramatically.So why dont i see this with 3dmark05.

Back the speeds down. Look at my recent post on watercooling my 6800GT non-Gs. Found great results at 445/1.15. over 5,600 on 05 and 13,666 on 03. I was able to push my GPU to nearly 500Mhz and stay stable however the scores were not improving but not artifacting. Leads me to believe I've run into another blocking point in my system.

i just did a fresh XP install and got 3990 but i had the old version so that score wouldnt post i dowlnoaded the patch and now i cant run the dang bench...lol is stick and stutters then it just stops or locks up but wont crash and the higher i push my card or cpu the worse it gets but 3d/03 and aqua still run great.65000aquamark03 and 10456 in 3d/03

Each year is a different type of test. You may gain 10% in 03 but only 5% of 05. Its based on different types of benchmarking. Apparantly more intensive

And my card dosent like this bench one bit..lol Since my system is better than alot of the systems that are beating my scores .I see P4's at 3.0 and lower beating my score with the same card and amd 2500+ with 6800nu's beating me by 1500 pionts .(i know the amd's are better at benching and gam) .But in the the other bench marks my system against the same systems i beat them .Its just weird.I found one guy with the same specs as me 2.8 and the same OC and the same card. Im faster in 3Dmark03 and he is faster in 05.I would think we would be closer in scores.It just dont figure.Ok ill stop crying now.(dang im getting on my own nerves)

I run @ 3.92Ghz and 460/1500
Is that still LOW mark in this speed?

That's weird... I wounder is DX9b better than DX9c, coz last time my 3DMARK03 score in DX9b is faster than 3Dmark03 in DX9c..

I don't use expert tool. With the non-GS version of the card it doesn't let you OC past 400Mhz. Makes it kind of worthless for me. I typically just use coolbits or have Rivatuner force the GPU/Mem setting and use Coolbits from there.

Was that a typo on the memory speed? 1.5Ghz I think is impossible for 2.0ns memory. It does seem a little low for the hardware your using and the speeds it running but certainly not bad. What drivers 66.81? AGP size set to 128? Both those should help slightly. Also image settings set to Performance?

I personally haven't seen any GT come even close to that. I have seen a couple of guys with Ultra's hovering around those speeds. They both had 6800 Ultra GS's.

Thats my current config is 1.4v with core set at 400/1100 then software OC from there. Part of the problem getting GT's to very high clockrates like the Ultras OC'd can do is power limitations. There's a reason the Ultras have two molex connectors. I know ViperJohn has touched on this issue some.

As for the drivers I gave up a long time ago trying to make logical sense out of Nvidia's drivers. They don't clearly define what changes in between series of drivers. At least not anywhere I can locate.

You're nuts if you think that's low. I can't get past 4315 with my setup. I can't figure out how everybody with slower systems than mine are creaming me on 3dmark05. What are you doing to acheive such high scores?

I don't know how to improve it. Its a BFG card, but it just locks up or doesnt do anything, I'm using the "clock frequency settings though.

Sorry. the speed is 460/1150 .. not 1500.. sorry about that.
U can try to use driver 66.81. it will give you around 150~200 extra points.
as you can see my rig. I use NV68 to watercool my Gaindward 6800GT GS
and mod the bios to 1.4V.

I want to get 6000 in 3Dmark05.. still testing.

At completely stock speeds im getting 4500. You have something wrong somewhere. My rig is a stock clocked (for now) A64 3400 and a stock clocked GT....
