Hello:

Can you think of a program that allows you to change memory timings in Windows?

Unfortunately, my Gigabyte GA-81k1100 (i875p chipset) does not give me the option of changing anything related to memory timings (besides FSB) in the BIOS.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I did look around the web for quite some time.

You might want to check the manufacturers website. I know abit has a program called oc guru, so gigabyte might have something like this.

Also, there might be a hotkey you have to press while in bios to access the timings. I can't imagine it would let you change timings...there has to be a way. Sorry I'm not much help. : (

You couldn't have been more helpful.

I visited their website and on the special utilities explanations, they said when you're in BIOS to hit crtl+f1 to get advanced options. So, there's your hotkey.

I'll say that's for fool-proof purposes for people like me.

I wouldn't have looked at the site again if you hadn't told me.

Thanks.
