 When I overclock my P4 2.4 Ghz To 3.06Ghz my board has to be reset every time I turn on my computer and the settings have to be re-entered because all of the other stuff on my mother board quits working and starts to get errors when I don't reset everything and then re-enter all the settings and I have to keep my battery out all the time. It used to run just fine at 3.06 and the processor has never over heated. Or gotten over 60'C accordint to what I have my shut down tempater set at and Everest.

Is this an ECS board?
Is your processor 800 fsb?(quad pumped 200mhz)?
I have the ecs 848p-a rev 1.1 board and a 2.4c 800fsb(200).
It will boot into windows at max board speed 250 mhz fsb(3.06ghz),but is not stable and when rebooting causes bios cmos to get corrupted.Max stable speed for me with this setup is 245 fsb 2940 mhz.
