well i got my 2.0a about 4 months ago to find out the board i had was bad so i set my little chip aside for about 3 1/2 months when i decided it was time to get her up and running so i went a got a MSI 865PE ICH-5 Neo 2 Platinum and some PDP DDR 400 ram well im posting today to show you my results and keep in mind this system only cost me about 380 bucks let me know what you all think

Thats awesome! is it prime95 stable?

i tested it for 8 hours of prime and 15 runs of sandra burn in stable
3.4 is just average for later C1 core chips. Try 1.6-1.65V and see if it has any more in it. 3.6GHz is not unheard of for chips of this type.

Im not going over 1.6 if that, because of snds im trying to keep it alive as long as i can and any thing over 1.6 with out phase change is asking for snds. Right now all im useing is modded stock cooling im useing the stock intel heat sink with a higher powerd 60mm fan on it and i lapped it so all in all that aint bad
