Yeah, I got an AYHJA "F" core today, was curious to know if anyone else has one and what they got out of it. I won't get to play with it till tomorrow, but I'll let you know how it goes.

Wow, that is a new one. I have many 1.4 AYHJA Y or AYHJA R. What is the manufacturing date code on it?

Sorry, I don't have a digicam yet, but here are the codes:

AYHJA 010APBW
F3801030072

*edit* hmmm.. I must have missed a number while writing that down, because i'm not sure what week it is (0A?!). Oh well, I'm too lazy right now to disconnect the Maze2 block to check...

Holy cow! 1668MHz! Is that with the same cooling gear as your AYHJA@1600?

Yup, this 1668 is at 1.99~2.00volts and is currently running the P95 Torture test without errors.

1.99~2.00V? What board is that on? KG7?

You just wait till I get my volt mod... 1600 at 1.8V at the moment, I reckon with 2V or more I could squeeze a fair bit out of this little chip... :D

where did it come from

I moved this to AMD CPUs because I felt others would like to see it. Very interesting development in stepping codes.

Walter: Yes, it is on the KG7

Jason: I got it from Newegg (my favorite online retailer :) )

Hoot: Thx, I meant to put it there anyway but accidently put it here. You should have seen me looking for it in the AMD CPU forum earlier this morning... lol

Well after playing with this chip, I can honestly recommend you search for the "F" code. I have reached my goal and am currently running at 1718mhz (12x143) @ 2.00v

I am confident that this chip will hit 1.8, but for now I will stay here until i get a vapochill or peltier on this bad boy.

Wow, nice OC!
So have you done a voltmod to your KG7, or is it like the 8K7A where you don't need to solder?

Neptune

Walter, Its on the KG7, with a volt mod.

Cheers,

I think the "f" stands for f#cking awesome Overclock! Newegg has um for like 117 shipped but I don't think they check codes so you have to gamble a little but that is one sweet chip.

Agreed :D

man sorry to disipoint your but 4 is a number and i saw on athlonOC.com compared to Y chips they ussualy get 50mhz lower on avg...u shoud see 1.4ghz for sure maby even 1.5 but your going to require soem bad boy cooling...becuase the voltage might need to be at 2v+ to get that puppy up very high

No dissapointment at all, the "4" isn't mine :)

Yeah, I've been wanting to get my hands on a "K" sample, let us know how it goes.
