i was jst wondering, anybody using this psu? my fan (bottom) from the psu is connected to the mobo, and its only running at 1350rpm... is this normal? replies would be helpful :)

I have one the fans are thermal controled, it has to get hot for them to speed up, I dont know the exact temps. Any fan hooked up to the Fan Only molex's will have the same thing. Both my 430 and 480 antec's are like this.

I have one in my other system. Don't connect the fan header and it will just run wide open all the time. The fan doesn't move that much air and it is not very loud at all.

What size of fan is it? As mentioned, it is likely to be thermally controlled so should speed up when put under heavy load.

The one in my 300W SmartPower ran at slightly over 900 RPM. I measured this directly because my mobo's BIOS said that 0 RPM. It turned out that the BIOS was misprogrammed and wouldn't register anything for fans slower than 4000 RPM.

I have the Antec 430watt and according to mbm its running at 1320rpm now...
