some people have found out that delta fans fry their mobo connectors, if they heard it on here or found out the hard way, they now know, so this is how to monitor speed of the fan and not have it fry the connectors.

1. pull out or cut off the red 12 volt wire at the 3 pin connector

2. strip down the red wire to expose about 5mm of bare wire

3. put it in a 4 pin molex connector(where the yellow wire would be)

Or, as an even easier solution, just pull the red and black plugs out and stick them into the holes in the molex connector (red in yellow, black in black) and plug in the fan connector the mobo header and you're all set!

yeh, that is what i have done, but doing one might be easyer
