Any one use this blower

415 CFM 53 VDC BLOWER from suplus center

it will run on 24v at 2 amps. It also has its own speed control in it. You power it of a 50V line but it also has a 0-10v input. At 10v it runs full speed. at 0v it runs half speed.

I want to know how loud they would be at half speed.

the 24V power requirement makes it basically unusable with a standard PC power supply. There might be only a handful of people here, that would run something like that.

It will run on down to 24v. I had planned in getting a 24v psu to run it. And then use a normal rebus to supply the power to its speed control.

I would like to use it in an external box to blow air out and then have air rush in through the heater cores.

wow... it is a neat blower... POWERFUL!!! It is REALLY large. Special case for it. It proberly be loud... 200CFM is load by itself.. AS for the voltage for 24v? you just might want to contact the manufacurer. THere might be an onboard power regulator considing its 0-10v control.

LET us/me know if you get one... I have an interest in blowers.
