how many secs to download a page from this site

That is going to depend more on the page and your internet connection than what NIC you have. Actually, it will depend most on your connection, then on the page, then on the amount of traffic on the site, and not much else, really.

actually ram has a bit to do with it. If yoru browser can't get enough memory then it has to use the swap file on the hard drive and that makes it go SSSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW.

Of course on my dialup here at home it really doens't make a darn bit of difference. Everything loads slowly.

I have verizon dsl with net gear and alot of memory... pages download in less than a second (one exception.. the avatar pages where they make and post them takes a few seconds)

im on Cable and it take me around 0.3 sec to load the page?

Just try running an avatar thread on a 56k line....

I set the view to 10 posts a page, and it still takes 3 or 4 minutes.......

At work, BANG, it's there, but at home, I just do something else while I'm waiting..........
