I think I've got a problem with my BFG 6800 ultra. I try to enable the TV out for the game "X2:The threat" but I cannot have dual monitor with the monitor and TV in 1024x768 in 60Hz. I just don't have the option. I can select the TV to be the unique "monitor" but the picture is not right, it's like there is a synchronization problem and I just see lots bands of colors passing on the screen. I tried to install WMD and it did not help (I know it's only for VIVO cards but I was beginning to become desperate...) The last thing I want is to RMA the card as I NEED it now and I would probably keep it if the TV out is scrap. I have looked at lots of options but could not find anything useful to enable the TV out correctly. Is there a jumper or some hidden settings somewhere?
Have you made sure it is set to use NTSC and not PAL?

I just thinked about something, I currently use the video out as s-video. Is it a composite video out? If so, it would need an adaptor... There is nothing about it in the manual; strange. They put 2 DVI to VGA adaptors in the box but no tv out adaptor that is much more needed if the output is composite...

Yes, it is NTSC-M (the only option available...) I don't know about the "-M"...
(edit)
I just verified and the -M is alright for Canada and USA...
You can only use 2 of the ports on the card at the same time. I read it in my manual.

Why would you want to use composite any way? S-video is better.

I had no manual with the card, just a quick install that is useless. On the card, there are the two DVI ports (I'm only using one with an analog LCD monitor) and there is the s-video port. A s-video cable can be plugged without any problem on it but the problem is that a s-video signal is not the same thing as a composite signal. I would prefer to have it in s-video because if it is composite, I would have to buy an adapter and the signal would be of lesser quality. My question was about the nature of the signal. As I understand your answer, the card have the possibility to drive a s-video or a composite input but how do I specify the nature of the signal?
