Is there a way to save Streaming video (that your window media player plays)? thank you.

Right-Click on the link and click Save As

if you mean live streaming, then i don't know. is it through internet explorer or netscape (windows media player just starts on the webpage and begins playing)? i too would like to know.

In the case of .asf files you need to make sure you get the actual .asf file and not the .asx one. The .asx is nothing more than an index that directs to the .asf.
In other words, if you download the .asx only and go to play it, it will go find that file on the internet and play it streamed...defeating your purpose.
Most cases you can do what everyone else has already said and just right click "Save As...".
