I droop moded my board yesterday. It made it much more stable @245-247. 250 still somewhat stable but will crash when I try to backup my Star Wars DVD. 247 will just rock on. What kind Of FSB should I expect with this setup
3.2e 1.425bios. 520 ocz psu, ocz rev 2 plat. 3200(2.5-4-4-8) 3.1vdimm with ocz ddr booster, p4c800, 4 hdd and 3 opticals. tt spark 7 cooler(AIR) temps 39-41 idle and 53-59c load. I have seen people say they hit 270, but I don't see how.
Oh the droop mod fixed the droop very well, would jump between 1.456-1.365, then reboot. Now it is down to 1.456-1.44-1.48. And it wasn't all that difficult to do.
thanks for all the input in advance

270 on air is a bit of a stretch would definantly be the exception and not the norm theres alot of people that cant get 270 out of thier mid to high end watercooling let alone on air.

you sound like your right around where you should be fsb wise with your cooling solution might want to bear in mind that the p4c800-e tends to read the temp a little lower than actual cpu temps since it gets its reading through a external probe. it might pay to up the vcore to around 1.45 to 1.47ish and see what kind of temps your getting there though.

btw grats on the droop mod its only way to oc this board right imho

have you sinked your mosfets? cooling those off a bit might help with some stability vcore wise as well.

Also have you put active cooling on your northbridge? I just finished both the droop and vmem mods on my buddy's P4C800 dlx yesterday and we gained another 15 mhz on the max stable fsb by just adding a Abit NB heatsink and fan the the northbridge.
