thats a really crappy res for gaming. at least use 1024x768
Accually...my friend has a similar setup, Athlon 64 and a gig of ram, he was bustin about 250 fps staring at a wall, and about...100 - 150 in accuall game play with 6xfsaa and 16xaf.
yeah with an x800 pro u wanna run it 1024x768 minimum..
its ur slow cpu and the fact that nothing is overclocked
well my computer is not slow lol and when i run it at 1024 its even worst

AA is antialiasing and also Ansiotropic filtering (the smoothe up jaggered lines in games)

Why are you posting 2 identical threads in 2 different sections???

That kind of thing is sort of frowned upon here...
also make sure u have right drivers? what drivers? why post in 2 different sections :S
Yea check those drivers, Steam should have automaticly told you to do that. I upgraded my drivers a while back, i lost about 7 fps, then i upgraded to the newest last night and i got those 7 back plus 2 extra in the Hardware Stress Test, good luck man.
