AMD K6-3 450 MHz

Does AMD still make the K6-3 450 MHz, if so why cant
I find them. I can find 400s but not 450s. Does anyone
know?

Getting hard to find the k6-3 450's now it seems. was looking for one for an old socket 7 MB i have sitting around, thought it would be fun to play around with. if ya find someone selling them let me know please.

Went to ebay and looked at what they had. Saw a few 450s,
and a few 400s being passed off as 450s or OCed to 450. For
the most part a little to much in cost.

only other deal to find is pricewatch... if you think ebay is high, it's not entirely true... you just gotta be persistant and the opportunity will arise. it may mean keeping odd hours to win an auction at an odd hour of the night.

you have to try to estimate the traffic patterns there.
ebay is quite a scientific process actually...
all botched up by no-minds who'll pay anything for nothing...
which of course, drives market prices soaring on old junk.

They stopped the K6-3 line before the K6-2. I went looking for one when they were still relatively new and couldn't find one. I had to settle for a K6-2 and that was a few years ago. Most likely you'll not find a new one at a price worth paying.
