I have been scouring the net, looking for information regarding my Duron 950 with a red core, stepping ANCA 0121APDW
95991520172 Does anyone have any info at all? Im thinking that I should leave it locked and try a FSB jump to 133. Or should I unlock it and try both ways?

What MB do you have ? with my darn az11e i can only get my FSB up to 105 so far. i unlocked the L1's and set the multiplier to 10.5 and it works great!!
is the red core strange or something ? mine is red as well.

My motherboard is an MSI K7T Turbo. It has to be sent back froa 2nd RMA and i should get it back in a couple weeks. I had my Duron 650 runnin at 933 MHz (7x133) which was stable but pretty hot. It ran great at 866 (6.5x133). The only cooling I have is a cheap Coolermaster DP5-6H51 hsf. I plan to invest in a Thermalright SK6 sometime soon.
unlock it but try FSB first, when you max that out start playing with the multiplier. I don't know how far that CPU will go though, I doubt that it's a morgan core, so I don't think you can hope for more than 1100 at best (correct me if i'm wrong here).

lol mine is green hehe...or blue i dont rember...it was a 700duron ...so far as far as i have seen it looks like there is quite alot fo 950mhz durons that are red cored floating around the marketplace .....avg durons can get 1.1~1.2 just becuase of the aluminum interconnect when morgans come out with copper interconnect expect a huge jump in overclock ablity
