Greetings, i have a duron 900 on a fic az11e that i am currently messing with. i have a dragon orb 3 (it was cheap) for cooling the CPU and 2 30 CFM intake fans and 2 20 CFM exaust fans for my case.

i currently have the system running at 105x10 and after folding for 4 hours my CPU temp is 38C, the room temp is 27C. my system temp sits within a couple C of my room temp.

is 38C ok for the ambient temp ?

i am going to be trying to raise the multiplier some (az11e wont do any more FSB hehe) so i will probably end up with a CPU temp in the low to mid 40's. is it ok to run a duron in the mid 40's for extended times ?

thanks, Xan.

38 degrees sounds fine, if you really are looking for a large improvement get some artic silver paste and make sure you have as even as possable CFM going in and out

temps sound good make sure your intake and out are the same for max effecient cooling.

Also Arctic Silver is good but don't get it all over the CPU just on the core any where else and u may have probs!

See ya

My Duron seti's at 47 - 49c. If after reaching your overclock limit you can keep the system under 50c at full load I wouldn't loose any sleep if I were you. However, as an overclocker, you are obligated to do all you can to get the most speed at a cost of the least temp so keep tweaking!
