Hi,
Heres the problem -
I can no longer install any graphics drivers onto my computer, as once installed, computer will not boot. it gets as far as the windows logo screen, then the monitor goes into standby, then displays corruption and reboots.
It works fine if i boot it into safe mode and uninstall the drivers, then reboot (im using it now) but obviously i cant play any games and scrolling a webpage takes ages.
someone sujjested that something in windows (XP) may have become corrupted and that i should repair my installation. thing is i dont know how :(
ive tried booting off the XP disk, and entering the "repair console" but dont know where to go from there.
anyone help?
perhaps there is a way that i can fix it without using the repair thingy but im not sure. not really up to speed on software.
