given my setup (see sig) how far should I push it, and what can I expect in terms of heat??? I have a Glaciator with Artic Silver2 and the side of the case is allways open.

tough to say. What stepping 1.4 do you have? I think the AHYJA "R"s seem to do pretty well.

I just got my 1.4 AHYJA "9" the other day and I also have a glaciator cooler, my CPU temps in bios with the sides off are 43*C, mboard temp around 34*C, ambient 24-5*C. This is at stock speed.

temps are high because my house is hot, but at arround 55-59C for the CPU at stock speed/voltage. It's a AYHJA "R"

55c - 59c at default Vcore and speed is pretty high. Are you sure that you have your Glaciator seated properly on the CPU. If it gets even a little off kilt, it won't cool your CPU properly. At those temps you won't be able to overclock your system much, and I know that the Glaciator is a good HSF assembly.

It's seated correctly, I've checked it three times. I still think the temps are high because my house is hot, and I dont have any case fans
