Hello everyone im trying to make a decision on which CPU to get 1ghz duron morgan, 1ghz tbird, or spend an extra 30 bucks and go for the 1.4 bird?? i know people are getting good Ocing out of the 1ghz birds, also debating on the new morgan core technology these chips are all in my price range. or should i wait and see if the palamino 1.2 ghz comes down after a couple of weeks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would get the 1.4 Ghz. For $30 more, you're guaranteed a 1400 Mhz. If you wait for the Palimo, it might be a little pricey when it comes out, then you'll want to wait til the price drops. After the Palimo's price drops, the .13 micron process Athlon will be just around the corner. Then you'll say, oh I'm gonna wait a little long for that. When that comes out, it'll be too pricey and you'll want to wait for its price to drop. See, you'll wait forever. There's always something better just around the corner. So get the 1.4 Ghz now, it's so damn cheap. That way you'll have a decent system to last you until the Sledgehammer or something.
