I get poor results in aquamark3 (for my rig)
Can I improve these timings ?

have you tried tightning them at all ?? and what are your volts ??

i wouldnt expect to go to high .. you have 1 gb modules so the laytency will normally be higher ..

those are stock speeds ??

what spedd and timings dd it instrauct when you bought it ??
what kind is it ??

and from what i have gathered personally is cas 3 and 2.5 dont make a huge difference in performance .. at least bandwith from my knowledge.. but it would also depend on your speeds to ..

i havent tried doing anything at all.
its configured in b BIOS on "auto"

dont know what are the volts. where to check it ?
its a Kingston PC3200 400Mhz

Id of though you could do 6-3-3-2.5 easily.

u mean 2.5-3-3-6 ??

do I just change it in BIOS or do I need to adjust the voltage somewhere ?

u shouldnt need to change the voltage for them timings altho i would try 2.9V and 2-2-2-6 at 400mhz

change voltage in bios, if you have the options to.

what motherboard?

Drop cas latency to 2.5, and I doubt you will be able to do much more.

motherboard is A8V Deluxe

the most it has is v2.8

You wouldn't happen to know the model number on those memory modules, would you?

Did they come with heatspreaders on them or are they bare?

Just do some experimenting in the BIOS with memory timings, see if you can tighten those up at all. I wouldnt try for anything like 2-2-2-6 that you may see people doing because not only are those 1 GB modules but I dont think they are a high performance type like BH-5/6, CH-6, or TCCD. Those are also decent timings if you overclock them pretty far, so if you are planning to do that you should overclock them before you try to change the timings around.

How can I overclock it ?
I got A64 3800+ on A8V Deluxe

Know Nuttn here's the model KVR400X64C3A/1G
NO heatsinks - they're bare.

Latencies are not the fastest possible but it's understandable since you have giga per stick in your ram. It still may be possible to tighten timings a little.

check out what i have now:
I heard that A64's run best at TRAS 10

what would you suggest for me ?

Since I dont have your exact setup the best I can tell you is to experiment and see what you can do with it. Try out different timings and see how tight you can get them.
