I know this dont belong here but i posted it in Vendor Discussion, but i HAD TO LET U ALL SEE THIS - as i have NEVER been so screwed in my life, and i dont want it to happen to you.

edgemicro.com is the WORST i have ever dealt with. I ordered a POWMAX 400watt Dual fan PSU - ATX and paid 12.50 for like 3 day shiping. Well 27 days later it arrives. I called and said wtf where was my 3 day shipping, they tell me i get it 3 days from when it was shipped, they didnt advertise they dont ship it till thye have the extra time. Meaning they dont ship it when u order it also i open it up to hoping to see the POWMAX logo, but what is it.

A logic concept 400watt with 1 fan. I was ****ed to wait so long for the wrong thing, so i figure ill RMA it. Well i had to pay to send it back they would not.

1 Week later it arrives, again its a logic concept PSU(AGAIN). I am HOT AS HECK, well still wont pay, to ship it back so i figure ill keep it, it was AMD approves anways. Well i power down and start to put it in,hmm...it dont fit its not ATX at !!.

Now i am looking for the Chamber of Coerce number along with the BBB number. And im so mad i just mod the case to make it fit, which was easy. Now it fits ( the power connector for the wall was a little too high) no bigge, put puter back together and bootup all is good, then my puter is REAL hot, i feel the PS an it burns me. i Look and the fan is not turning, so i take it to a comp store and have it checked the friggin header for the internal fan dont work.!!!!!!

Basically, 1st time wrong part, 2nd time wrong part & wrong size, and does not work. I box it back up and call to get another RMA number and they say NO b/c i only have 14 days from the time of origional delivery to sent it back. I go off and fnally get an RMA number, for a 3rd try, and i hope i get what i pay for. If i dont im going to small claims court. STEAR CLEAR FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS

WoW man!

have the credit card company refund your charge...
you have consumer protection on your card,
and since they TOTALLY mislead you <brand, type, ship date>
AND sent a defect, you are indeed entitled to your money back!

Wow, dispute it with the credit card and have them fight for you. Next, file a complaint with http://www.bbbonline.org

That's how to get company's attention. It's what I use.

Gah sorry bout your misfortune :( That's why I'm wary about shopping at places I haven't heard good things about before.. but I guess even the good places do bad sometimes :( Hope everything gets straightened out.

:D You must be pretty steemed, but I believe that in the end you will prevail send them a really threatening letter (as far as the law is concerned) and they might just try to settle it.

I will never order from those guys! give them hell and don't take no for an answer. be polite but keep going higher and eventually they will give up and give you your money back.

That's why I quite happily pay a little bit extra sometimes in a store, so if the stuff's knackered, I have a face to speak to, not vauge promises from hundreds of miles away.
