Everyone talks talk about 3D Bench mark scores and what they're getting on their system. How do you test your own system with it? Download site?
As you can see I'm only sporting one yellow star. That's enough of an explanation as to my cheesy question.;)

Ok got it downloaded. Well, 3D Mark 2000 anyway 'cause it was free. Is that one still good? I scored a 2604 with a RADEON 32MB PCI on a Duron 900 system with 256 MB SD RAM.
Is that about right? Too low? What'd ya think?

that is really too low...the explanation is that you got a pci card.....but a radeon really should be much better than that...

What resolution should I use? That last score was on 1024x768x32. I just ran one on 1024x768x16 and scored a thousand points higher- 3718. Is that sounding better?

That's strange, I read an article that said redeons score a little better in 32 bit mode than in 16 bit. Vut then again, it was an agp redeon and I don't know the differences in performance; just than agp is better.
