Just got a new pci motherboard and p4 3.2 ghz and a x800xt pci, i had this befor but used a normal power suply and the g card burnt out so i had to rma them. (didnt know what was wrong at first) so just got my replacements, so i spent £80 on a tagan 480w as it is made for pci mobos and g cards and wanted to know befor i burn this card again with stupidity.
how you connect the card/hard drive/power suply together. iv maneged to get my 9800 working fine as its got one connecter and you cant go wrong, but the pci x800xt has a 2 lead connecter and it says on the sapphire site to:
1. Remove the power cable from the hard drive.
2. Connect the 4-pin connector of the Power Extension Cable to the RADEON™ X800 XT power connector.
3. Connect the Power Extension Cable to the power supply connector.
4. Connect the Power Extension Cable to the Hard Drive connector.
can someone show us a diagram on this as i cant find a way to do it? :bang head
