Half Life 2 Collectors $62.91 After $5 Off Coupon @ Buy.com

Hi peeps ,

Looking around for HF2 deals and found Buy.com has the Collectors Edition for $67.91 . Then found a thread at FW for a $5 off coupon at Buy.com HERE (http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messageview.php?catid=18&threadid=386195&start=0) , bringing down the price to $62.91 (not bad) .
I have to pay shipping (and tax in Calif) , but the end price is still the cheapest around so far . I have not pulled the trigger on this yet but looks like a good deal if I dont go through Steam (and I dont have to worry about doing back-ups)

So I thought others may be interested in this deal too ....

Yeh , I know its alot of $cabbage$ for ANY game , but considering the base price of HL2 is $50-55 + ship and possble tax elsewhere (including Steam/tax) ; then this deal does not look as bad as it sounds (IMO) .

What else ya gonna do if ya want the game when its released :bang head . *big sigh*

The collectors edition will retail for the most part at 79.99 the regular edition will be about 59.99 so 62 for the collectors is a deal

Collectors edition, plain edition, who cares. Its all the same game to me. I don't plan on buying it anyways. :)

HHHhhmmm .... kinda an update here . Looks like Buy.com as REALLY gone down hill over the last year or so ( since last time I ordered from them).

I ordered in August and I got everything a bit late, but in perfect condition and for the cheapest price avaiable. Personally I'd go for this deal, worst that can happen is that you don't get the game and then cancel your preorder. Most missing items in the complaints are small things like SD cards, etc.
