Any projects out there overclocking a dual Athlon MPs? I'm playing to go with 2 1.2ghz and dont know what board to get.
My only 2 projects are a duron 700@900mhz and a Tbird 900@ 1.100mhz using an abit kt7-r board.

Thanks for your time?

Right now - the only board that I have seen that is Dual AMD is the Tyan Thunder K7. I have one running - but there is no provisions for overclocking - without trial and error. Without a voltage mod to the board, you can't up the Vcore - and there is a set of jumpers for fsb on the board - but the manual on lists the positions for 100/133. Someone in these forums mentioned that there are more than 2 possible settings - and that they had upped the fsb - but didn't document the settings.

Wait for the MSI offering...

it should be out in the next few weeks to a month

knowing MSI it'll have all the bells & whistles and probably be pretty stable too

www.plycon.com has the Golden Sockets that are known to work on the AthlonMP.... as far as the voltage thing, if there's an equivalent to to penciling in the L7's (on a Duron or TBird) that would give ya what ya need.... otherwise I too will be waiting on a board from MSI, Abit or Iwill... whoever comes out with one that has all the o/c tweaks first will have my $$$...
