What would be the best hsf if i wanted to o/c this think.

I think a good place to start is with an "ANYTHING BUT AN ORB" cooler, and I doubt anyone would disagree with me. Beyond that I can't give any advise based on personal experience, I've one hsf and I bought it, in part, based on noise factors, not just cooling performance.

Swiftech 462. But it costs almost as much as the cpu.
The sk6 will do a fine job for about $35.

umm u wana post the info on your cpu...so we gota idea of what your cpu is capible....i gota axia 266 Y and i got 1.4ghz .....i am ussing ASII and VolcanoII it supports up to 1.5ghz but for that i think i will need an intake hole to pump air to the front of the hsfan to get some better cooling its quite hot right now... but if u gota better one then i got i would go for better cooling but if u got one of the older ones that arnt able to go as high...stick with a cheep hsf...mine was 22$ CDN 15US

There is not set amount every chip is different just like people.

I only know one place but I am sure there are others maybe search at pricewatch.com
Also you should check and make sure it will fit on the board you plan to use. Ask here or check www.swiftnets.com they should have a list thou it might be a little out of date.

Thanks guys for your help, i didn't look at the chip info, i was a bit excited for getting a ghz chip. went from celeron 433 to ghz athlon. athlon rules!
