hi. i wanna get a new video card and my options are: GeCube 9550xt (i think it's actually called 9550GU) with 2.5ns hynix mem (400/600 stock speed) - i heard it can go up to 500/800; GeCube 9600pro (don't know the exact specs) and a Palit Dayton 9800se 256bit, 128MB. I want to get the 9800se because i might be able to mod it into something better :), but the thing is it's a palit daytona... i heard this brand isnt' the best of them. What do you guys think i should get? (the 9800se is a bit more expensive but it's still less than an 9800se 128bit made by ati)

Since there is a new gen out, I'd say the 9800se, I like to take risks. :)

Try to find a cheap second hand 9500. Look for "L" shaped ram and your might be able to mod it. Its cheap and good. Or a 9800. But some of those cheap ones, really suck.

i won't get a second hand card. i found a sh 9500pro at about the same price as a new 9600pro.

i think i'll get a 9600pro. is there a big difference between a gecube and a palit-daytona card? (in quality/performance)
