I'M new to the board and new to folding and im not sure if I set the cfg file right, all i did was add me name where it says username.
I just copy and pasted is in here and wanter to know if this was correct.
I did read a guide but got the impression that all i had to do was add my name, if this is wrong please let me know before I add more computers
I have 2 out of 5 running now so please clue me in.
Thanks

Change it to this;

[settings]
username=Tech_Pen
team=32
asknet=no
machineid=1

[http]
active=no
host=localhost
port=8080
usereg=no

[clienttype]
type=1

[core]
priority=0
cpuusage=100
disableassembly=no
checkpoint=15
ignoredeadlines=no

That will fix your issues.

I have added a zip with my client.cfg in it can someone please take a look at it and if its broken please fix it.
after checking the previously posted sites it see what if anything i and done so far, I found nothing...
Granted i have no clue how much time it takes to show results but i sure would feel better if i know i wasnt spinning my wheels like a mouse on a excercise wheel.
Thanks

Thanks for the feed back guys heres one question and with any luck it will be my last one for a minute or two.
I am behind a router i did read the below thread but found it not so helpfull. so do 1 need to open port 8080 if so would that be tcp or udp and does it require a diffrent trigger port?
Or is this not required and it just takes a while to get any results?
