Here's a review from Asus' latest card:

I don't know much about ATi but this sure looks pretty good to me...although the pricetag is quote hefty...http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-121-517&depa=1
Is there a 3rd party cooling solution that you can install on these Ati cards???
:)
I quess this one would although it doesn't state if it is for a pro or xt, so I'm guessing it is for both.

By the way the card is great.
You are looking at 2 different cards. The one in the review is the AGP version. It is called an X800XT/TVD and has clock speeds of 520/560. Newegg kind of has the model wrong If you go to the ASUS website you can see that their PCI-E version doesn't carry the XT/TVD badge it's different. It's almost like newegg combined the model numbers but the card pictured is the PCI-E version known as the EAX800XT/2DTwhich has the slower speeds of 500/500. Kind of confusing but they are different none the less.

I believe the first is the PE flavor, while the PCI-express card is the XT _ kind. Confusing indeed, as the labeling system isn't consistently used.
AGP PE:

PCI-express 1) vanilla:

2) PE:

There's even a third PCI-E flavor that says XT in one paragraph and XT PE in another. Confused yet? :)

It seems like these cards are hard to find...no?
I'm just looking for a card that can hold me over for 1-2 years or more.....until my next major upgrade....
