ram doesnt show up right

I didnt exactly read the label when i got the ram in the mail, i figured it was the right one it looked like the right one, now its showing up on CPU-Z as PC3200 ram, when really it should be pc3500...is this because the mobo only supports up to ddr400 ram?

Most 3500, is overclocked 3200. They didn't bother to change the spd table on the ram, that's all. It's still 3500
