I am about to build my own computer, and here are these nifty, cool looking aluminum casings, but they cost a lot. Is there any added benefit to them?

Also, looking into this 400W power supply, can anyone tell me if its going to fly or fry?

Appreciate any feedback ^^

As far as aluminum cases go, weight is the primary benefit. However, many manufacturers are building their top-of-the-line designs in Al (Lian-Li, Coolermaster, Silverstone for example). Some say they run cooler because of the aluminum, but that has been somewhat disproven (to me anyway) by some review sites. They're just excellent designs with superior airflow.

Try searching the these forums for case and PSU recommendations. I have Antec and Sparkle/Fortron PSU's, and they haven't let me down yet.

A few searchers I did left me with outdated information of products that don't nessecarily exist anymore on regular product channels. So due to the ever changing world of computer hard/software I have decided to just post my thoughts and feelings on the most current uptodateinformation I have. ^^
