i have just been to this web site http://www.spodesabode.com which is packed full of ideas for waterblocks, i had an idea

get a 15mm peice of piping and cut about 5cm off it, with this 5 cm peice, put it in a vive so the middle has a flat bottem, this will go on the cpu core, inside glue a 10mm peice of copper tubing to the base and inside that glue a 5mm peice of tubing to the bottem (so they are inside each other joined at the bottem) this is my water block idea

solder it rather than glue it, it should work pretty well then! I like the idea, nice cheap water block! im not sure if u read about my design im gonna build soon, but its a maze with water going in smack in the middle then to two outlets, covers much more area than teh DD maze2 designs... hope to get comparable cooling ability though cos i dont believe i can make something as good as the pros.

I'll post pics as soon as i get working on it! i wanna see pics of your idea too !

thanks, i have gone back as far as i can be bothered in the cooling section, i havn't found your post (considering it was a post) but it sounds good. i will see how good this waterblock competes against my heatsink in a case design

i was thinking of making "watersink" too, but i cant think of a way of getting the water to flow evenly through all the fins. any ideas?

Just get a 60mm x 60mm x 3/16(not sure about metric equivilent) plate of copper and make a BeHive block(see spode's site), they work rather well . . .

i donth think that will be a problem, but if you really want to try i have seen people use copper tubing down the sides to provide the water evenly

I didn't fully understand this explaination... I want to make a water block too
Could u send me more info in pm please?

ok, i will type slower because i know you cannot read fast...

this is that the waterblock will look like over the cpu, it is just a 15mm copper pipe flattened at the bottem, inside that is a 10mm pipe and instide that is a 5mm pipe

here is a pic

aaaah thats different to what i imagined, but should work great.... i'll attach pic of my idea... its very rough lol! water goes in to the middle chamber, then out at top and bottom at end of channels, i came up with a way of ensuring even flow through both passageways and am getting it milled by a friend of mine.
