its best to have all the same metals in the same loop so u dont have to worry about corrosion, i.e. all copper blocks and rad. what about the metal in the pump like on my mcp-600 clone ? it appears to be made of steel.
 
good point.. depending on how the pump works.. as with must pumps i got not clue how they work..

btw NOTHING is a dumb question. maybe relly knowen but its all learning. and checking
