I'm looking to get a Celeron for my Abit BH6 rev 1 to run at 100mhz FSB. How likely will the 600 do this?
Both stand a very good chance of doing this, as long as you get a good slocket with voltage options and a reasonable cooler and heat transfer compound. You would probabally get higher fsb's than 100mhz with both, A lot of 566's will reach a 112mhz fsb or higher for 952mhz, and quiete a few of 600 will reach that but not as often as a 566.
Pick yourself up a good hsf when you buy the Celeron and either the 566 or 600 will make you proud. I see a lot of posts on here with guys hitting a gig with the 600. So if it were me I would probably buy the 600. I have the 800 Celeron at 1066 right now, and have been pretty pleased with it so far. Just make sure you get a good hsf if you plan on OC'ing with positive results as I have found out.

I used to get 1.1 from my old cBo. this new one sucks, but it didnt have 6 months of burn in like the old cB0 did. Ill see what i can do with this tomorow morning. If it turns out near identical, looks like ive got other hardware stopping me from goigh further.

Hi Slickone, wellcome to the Forum,
For me the best way to go is a Celeron 600 Stepping Revision cC0, forget the cB0 like mine, is crap :D don't wanna go over 900Mhz stable :(

Forgot to mention, I've got an MSI 6905 slocket, a PAL 6035 HSF, and some AS II.
Won't most of the ones being sold now be cC0's?
I think I'm gonna order from compubuzz.

Yes they probabally will be cCO's though the odd cBO may still creap in. If you have a good vid card and memory and your motherboard does a 133mhz fsb then one of the new cDO's may be a better choice, people have been having very good results from them.

I suppose,
but better check the Stepping Revision, if not listed, asking with an E-Mail before ordering, or look for other reseller ;)
As far as I know the cDO's are only available from 800mhz upwards and most people have reported reaching 133mhz fsb+ with them

yes, I will personally atest to that (800 celeron cD0 at 150 mhz (1.20 GHZ) fsb with stock heatsink and .05v increase).
do you mean 0.05v increase pinky?
