Found this deal for this week only on a VisionTek Xtasy 9600xt 256mb for $150 after rebate. It's a 128bit version. What's everybody's thoughts on this?

well, all the 9600xt's are 128bit, I used to have one and I was really happy with it. it's really a good budget card imo, but I think 9600/9600pro have some modding that can be upgraded into something else.

About the only thing that a 9600pro could mod to, is a 9600xt. :-/

And that would be one hell of a mod, considering that the gpu speeds are 100mhz difference.

9600XT's are alright.. You could do better for that amount of dough from fleabay.
